Essence
"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well."
- Virginia Woolf -
You have eaten at good restaurants. You have ordered the wine pairing. You have done the food tour, the fine wine tasting, maybe even taken the photos.
But sill you want more.
People who love dining the way you do understand that this is never really about the food. It is about the farmer who woke up at 5am to get to the market. The winemaker who waited seven years to open that bottle. The culture that decided, a long time ago, that eating well was worth building an entire civilization around.
Piedmont is that civilization.
And for four days in November, it will be yours.
Wine and Truffle Lovers is for the ones who live to taste.

Barolo town
A hilltop village that gave its name to one of the most celebrated wines in the world. Walking through Barolo in November, when the fog sits low over the Langhe hills and the harvest is over, is something that is hard to put into words until you are standing there.

Piedmont wines
Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto. Piedmont produces some of the most complex and age-worthy wines in Italy, each one a direct expression of the land, the altitude and the season. Throughout the retreat we will taste, learn and go deeper into what makes this region so extraordinary for anyone who takes wine seriously, or is simply starting to.

96th Edition of the International Alba White Truffle Fair
One of the world's most prestigious culinary events, the fair runs from October through December and draws gourmands and chefs from around the world to the historic town of Alba. We visit during the peak of the season, stroll through the market, taste, explore and let one of the most extraordinary ingredients on earth do the rest.

Truffle Hunting
Into the woods with a guide and a trained dog. We hunt both varieties: the black truffle, found across Europe, and the white truffle, Tuber magnatum, which grows in very specific soils but is mainly found in Italy and sells for over €2,000 a kilogram. There is no better time and no better place to hunt than Piedmont during fall.

Private chef
Every meal prepared exclusively for the group. We respect the Piedmontese tradition and let the season and the territory speak, then we find ways to surprise.

Private sommelier
A dedicated session to taste, learn and understand Piedmont through its wines. A conversation around a table with someone who knows these hills by heart.
